2017 AP Exam Highlights

 

Warren County High School will be offering select AP exams during the month of May. Students take these examinations in hopes of receiving Advanced Placement credits for college. You can view extensive information about the AP exams at www.collegeboard.com and WCHS specific AP exam information on the school website (wchs.warrenschools.com) under the Academics tab.

 

The 2017 test fee will be $93 per exam for the following exams:

Art History, Psychology, U.S. Government, U.S. History  

Prices for those students qualifying for a fee reduction have not yet been determined.

 

Because of an AP exam fee pilot grant sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Education, the following exams will be free of charge for students enrolled in the corresponding AP course for the 2017 exam year:

Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, English Language (11th grade), English Literature (12th grade), Physics

 

Registration for AP exams will occur during a two week window from February 27- March 10.  During the registration period, test fee(s) must be paid by a check made out to Warren County High School. Students may come by the library during lunch to register.

 

AP testing will be held on campus, and the test dates are as followed:

*Art History and Physics 1 are on the same day at the same time.  Any student wishing to take both exams will have to register for one exam on an alternate testing day.

 

*Psychology, Art History, and Physics 1 are afternoon exams, and will possibly not end until 3:30 or 4:00 p.m.  Students taking these exams should be prepared to sit for the duration of the exam.
