Mu Alpha Theta and the Math Department would like to invite students and faculty to participate in some Pi Day trivia, hula-hooping, photo booth, and more during lunch next week (3.14) in the courtyard- weather permitting! The scavenger hunt list will be released Monday thru math classes or Google Classroom. There will be prizes! Also, we will be collecting canned items (Pi*r^2*h) for the local food bank thru math classes only and will ask for monetary donations for the Linda King Memorial Scholarship (applications due on Pi Day btw) that day during lunches in the courtyard. Those who donate to the scholarship fund will receive complimentary brownies or Oreo Balls while supplies last! And again, the can drive is thru participating math classes only. Events and contests are open to all! In the event of rain, we will scale down the outside activities but will still have some events with locations announced later.
